Jerry this is a good example of times gone by. It provokes memories from 1947 when my father packed up the family and traveled Route 66 to California to manage one of his employers tool and die shops. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I love it!; June 10, 2010 at 9:09 AM

Jerry said...: I think this scene evokes memories or imaginings in many of us. I saw my parents' old car in it, and a simpler life to go with it. The Sunday afternoons we used to spend taking rides in the country around Enka, NC, after church and Sunday dinner... Cool breezes coming through the open windows. Billowing clouds making you lazy, dreamy.
