© Tina Brookes The heavy rains yesterday no doubt brought back fear and bad memories for Middle Tennessee Flood victims as well as those of us who were not physically affected. All of us probably know someone who suffered damage. I thought it appropriate to share the following text and picture from Tina Brookes today. It is not an artisitc picture nor is it meant to be. It does however tell a timely story of the problems that linger for many of our friends and families. Just a photographic reminder that we need to keep these folks in our thoughts and prayers and help where and when we can.
Tina writes:
"Here is a sight that I never expected to see in Nashville. I pass Judson Baptist Church on my way to and from work each day. Lately, as I pass by each morning, there must be between 20 and 30 American Red Cross Disaster Relief vehicles lined up, along with tractor trailer trucks, etc. They load up and head out to help the Nashville Flood victims. It was an emotional experience the first time I saw it and continues to be. It is both heart-wrenching because of the pain it represents, but it is also inspiring to know that there are people helping and peolpe being helped through this time of disaster in Nashville. This is not a pretty picture, but I wanted to share it with you anyway."
